We're conveniently located in the Heart of the Hocking Hills, 5 minutes Northeast of Old Man's Cave. We're easily reached from Columbus, Dayton/Cincinnati, Cleveland, and points beyond. Leave behind the hectic city life and immerse yourself in nature!
Our cabin is off of Blackjack Road, on S.R. 664 between Logan/U.S. 33 and Old Man's Cave. You are always just minutes from all the area offers! The roads and driveway to our cabin are also easily accessible in any vehicle and weather.
We started Cut Above Cabins because we, like you, want and expect more out of a Hocking Hills vacation. We're long-time visitors to the region, with an avid love of the region's rugged, unspoiled beauty.
We enjoy relaxation and luxury too - who doesn't? - but in the past couldn't find just the right place for our vacations. The places were either too far removed, too cramped for groups of friends, or lacking in some of the basic upscale amenities we desired.
Our two families decided what better way to create and share the perfect experience than to build it ourselves! We started Cut Above Cabins in 2007 with the sole purpose of creating the ideal luxury getaway, close to the region's many attractions but still within pristine wilderness.

Our first cabin, the Shenandoah, is complete and started renting August 4, 2008. As soon as we can recover from the exhausting work of building and furnishing a cabin, we'll look to grow again!
Fall in the HillsLate summer/early fall is one of the best seasons to visit the Hocking Hills. Great weather, leaves changing colors ... it doesn't get any better than Fall in the Hills!
