The Big Pine Lodge is a natural choice when needing more space for your get-a-way. Accommodating up to 25 guests in beds, this Luxurious Lodge is nestled in the woods on a quiet road just a few minutes from Old Man’s Cave in the heart of Hocking Hills.
The cabin boasts a large canvas by local artist Bud Schrader. It hangs above the staircase and is flanked on each side by rustic shutters. The updated kitchen has new appliances, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators, granite countertops, and hickory cabinets. Off the kitchen is a weber propane grill for cooking (propane included). The dining room has 2 tables with tree stump bases that can be put together to seat up to 16 and pulled apart to seat up to 24. There is an additional island that seats 4 or can host a buffet-style serving for your group.
The great room, with gas fireplace, has a comfortable “pit” sectional sofa that will seat a dozen or more for relaxing and enjoying TV entertainment. 2 full bathrooms with showers are located on this floor as well as a bedroom with a king-size bed. The only private deck is off this master bedroom designed for a couple who may need to enjoy a few moments of peace to themselves. It has a high-top table and 2 Adirondack chairs for a relaxing experience.
6 bedrooms, 4 Kings size beds, 4 queens, and 9 twins on three floors maximize comfort and privacy. There are 17 beds in all. The Loft has 2 bedrooms with king beds and 4 twins in the open area. The largest bath is on this floor with a tub and separate shower and 2 bowls at the vanity. To make your stay easier, a second refrigerator on the lower level is perfect for the extra food and drinks you will need as well as the game room with air hockey and a pool table. In this room is another sofa pit with a queen bed for an extra guest or two and a TV.
The bunk room is next to the game room with 2 queens and 3 twins. This floor has an additional King bedroom and one bathroom with a shower. The 8-person hot tub on the back deck is a favorite. We have an outdoor firepit (firewood is available here) and 2 picnic tables for evening relaxation as well as outdoor dining. Two covered decks, comfortable beds, and 4 bathrooms make this cabin a perfect choice for families to get together in comfortable accommodations.
The main floor of the cabin accommodates our guests with mobility issues.
It has a ramp from the parking lot for wheelchair accessibility.

Pricing Explained: Maximum occupancy is 25 guests. The base rate for Big Pine Lodge is for 8 guests. Additional adults and children are $33/person/night. All rates are based on 8 guests. Additional guests up to the maximum will add to the nightly rate at $33 per person, per night. Charging for the size of the group makes it fair and affordable for smaller groups. Children 6 months and under do not need to be counted in your guest count. For example: If the base nightly rate is $699 it includes 8 guests. If you have 11 guests, the rate is $699 for the first 8 and an additional $99 for the 3 guests for a total nightly rate of $798 and so on up to the max occupancy allowed.
