We have always taken extra measure to ensure your safe, healthy, and restful stay at our cabins. You already know our standards of cleanliness are our top priority if you have stayed with us before.  A common thread in our reviews is "the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in".  We have always maintained a stringent policy and regimen around the cleaning & sanitation of our cabins prior to your arrival.Did you know?  That sunlight kills covid-19 in less than 30 minutes.  That means that outdoors is the safest place to be.  Transmission risk is zero.  Indoors, we are doing our part to make sure that no covid is left in the air or on surfaces.Ways we are keeping you and our staff safe:

• Masks are worn when cleaning as well as other protective clothing while in any of our cabins.
• An Ozone Generator is run for at least an hour prior to entry to clean and sanitize the air and surfaces.  Fresh air is allowed to repopulate the oxygen in the cabin after the Ozone Generator has completed.  Furnace fans will run continuously to move the ozone air around cleaning and disinfecting duct work etc.  
• We have stepped up the surfaces that we clean and disinfect making sure to get all of the surfaces that are commonly touched using approve detergents and sanitizers and disinfectants.  
• We encourage our staff and guests to wash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds frequently throughout the day.  Please bring your own wipes.
• Cabinfresh™ is a patented process used in the automobile and hotel industries as well as hospitals for more than 10 years.  It is now sanitizing our cabins.  It is a mist that covers 100% of the touchable surfaces and upholstery.  Read about it at Cabinfresh.com

Overview of our standard cabin cleaning process:

• We have electronic locks so our guests do not need to come to an office to collect paperwork or keys.  Check in is as easy as letting yourself in with a code.
• All linens (bath towels, hot tub towels, bedding, kitchen linens) are laundered fresh after every check-out.
• Door knobs and keypads, light switches, remotes and other common surfaces are disinfected and sanitized.
• Appliances, counter tops, bathroom surfaces, and any hard surfaces are cleaned with proper cleaning solutions to ensure cabins are safe & clean for your arrival.
• All floors are vacuumed and mopped to maintain an extra level of hygiene and cleanliness.
• All trash and used cleaning supplies are properly disposed.
• Hot tubs are fully serviced and maintained on a regular schedule following health department guidelines for the use of chlorine and other chemicals to produce sparkling clear & healthy balanced water.  If you have a stay for 2+ days or upon request, our staff will check your hot tub chemicals and cleanliness during your stay.
• Each cabin receives a “deep cleaning” on an ongoing basis which includes walls, ceilings, vents, behind major appliances, all the little nooks & crannies, and much more.
• HVAC systems are inspected and filters changed monthly.
• All onsite water treatment plants are regularly inspected to ensure safe and quality water supply.

​We take great pride in our cleanliness with a steadfast commitment to ensuring guests are welcomed with clean, sanitized, and healthy amenities to enjoy during your stay!  To give you even greater confidence when deciding to stay with Cut Above Cabins, we are now taking a additional steps for your peace of mind.

Our cleaning staff will be taking extra care to wipe down additional high-touch surfaces and/or spray them with a disinfectant as a final step in our cleaning process.  We have also removed any decorative bedding so that sheets and blankets can be laundered between guests.
Regarding hot tub usage, according to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC.gov), there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine or bromine) of pools and hot tubs actually inactivates the virus that causes COVID-19. We treat all our hot tubs with chlorine. The chemical levels are checked and maintained on a regular basis during your stay, and in between stays.
