HIKING AND NATURE AT ITS BEST......

OLD MAN’S CAVE | Frontier, Summit, Big Pine 4 miles ~ Château, The Loft, Bélla Casa, Avalón Villa 10 miles.
The most popular tourist attraction in the area, Old Man’s Cave is part of Hocking Hills State Park. There are multiple hiking trails down to and around the cave, as well as a picnic area and refreshment stand.

CEDAR FALLS | Frontier, Summit, Big Pine 5 miles ~ Château, The Loft, Bélla Casa, Avalón Villa 11 miles.
Take a hike down the side of a ravine and across the bridge to visit Cedar Falls, an impressive waterfall and pool nestled in the Hills. For a unique experience, brave the elements and visit in the winter, when the waterfall is often frozen and clinging from the rock face above.

ASH CAVE | Frontier, Summit, Big Pine 7 miles ~ Château, The Loft, Bélla Casa, Avalón Villa 13 miles.
Ash Cave is one of the more accessible and family friendly hikes. It offers a wide paved path to an immense cave, complete with a single ash tree, a waterfall from several hundred feet above, a small pool and sand for the children to play in.

CONKLE’S HOLLOW | Frontier, Summit, Big Pine 4 miles ~ Château, The Loft, Bélla Casa, Avalón Villa 10 miles.
Conkle’s Hollow is another accessible, family friendly park with a paved path for most of the hike. This area is also typically less crowded than the other parks, and offers a grassy picnic area.

ROCK HOUSE | Frontier, Summit, Big Pine 10 miles ~ Château, The Loft, Bélla Casa, Avalón Villa 8 miles.
For those looking for adventure off the beaten path, we recommend Rock House. Less crowded than the other parks but just as impressive, Rock House offers rugged hiking, magnificent rock features, and multiple picnic areas.

LAKE LOGAN | Frontier, Summit, Big Pine 7 miles ~ Château, The Loft, Bélla Casa, Avalón Villa on the Lake.
Located near US 33 and St Rt 664, this large recreation area offers swimming, refreshments, watercraft rentals, and more.

HOCKING HILLS CANOPY TOURS (ZIPLINE) | Frontier, Summit, Big Pine 12 miles ~ Château, The Loft, Bélla Casa, Avalón Villa 6 miles.
Just up the road on US 33 is the area’s first (and largest) zipline facility. Zip through tree canopies, taking a two-hour, ten-zipline tour or soaring over trees and a river on their “Superman” zipline.

HOCKING HILLS CANOE LIVERY | Frontier, Summit, Big Pine 8 miles ~ Château, The Loft, Bélla Casa, Avalón Villa 13 miles.
Go for a canoe, kayak, or raft ride down the Hocking River, one of the state’s most scenic rivers. The livery is located just past US 33 on St Rt 664.

WIND CHIME SHOP | 15 minutes from the cabins ~ A hidden gem in the Hocking Hills, located southeast of Cedar Falls. This store has an amazing selection of wind chimes - small and large, simple and elaborate - for every taste and budget. Worth the visit!

HOCKING HILLS MARKET | 20 minutes from the cabins ~ An expansive indoor/outdoor market just northwest of Logan on US 33. Find just about anything, from handmade crafts and woodworking to souvenirs.

LOGAN ANTIQUE MALL | 20 minutes from the cabins
Located just past US 33 on St Rt 664, the Logan Antique Mall houses many antique dealers. Find a hidden treasure in Hocking Hills' backyard.

HOCKING HILLS GOLF CLUB | 20 minutes from the cabins
A stunning 18-hole par 71 course set in the rugged backdrop of the Hocking Hills. The golf club is complete with a lounge, restaurant, and pro shop.
